Finca Ron Ron is conceived as a collection of lightweight wooden pavilions, each designed as an independent “tree house” immersed in the Costa Rican landscape. Elevated on slender supports, the structures minimize ground impact while creating the sensation of floating within the forest canopy. The use of timber construction emphasizes warmth and sustainability, while wide openings, terraces, and permeable facades allow for natural ventilation and panoramic views. Circulation unfolds through suspended walkways, reinforcing the idea of a retreat fully integrated with its tropical environment. Circulation between units is resolved through suspended walkways and garden paths, weaving a continuous experience of movement through vegetation. More than a collection of rooms, Finca Ron Ron becomes a network of elevated refuges — a model of sustainable hospitality that blurs the boundary between shelter and forest.
